The Snowy Mountains region is alive year-round, with each of its towns having their own unique character.
Although the ‘Snowies’ are famous for alpine peaks with winter snow adventures and activities; it’s not just about the snow. In the spring, summer and autumn months this remarkable region has so much to see and do, with our towns and their people just the start.
In winter, experience alpine village charm in the south of the Snowies at Jindabyne, Thredbo, Perisher, Charlotte Pass, Crackenback and Khancoban. The region’s resorts are a-buzz with snow sports fanatics.
In summer, enjoy some of the best views of the Snowies from the top of Mount Kosciuszko, accessible via Charlotte Pass and the Kosciuszko Express chairlift at Thredbo.
Year round activities on offer include mountain biking, horse riding, kayaking, bush-walking and fishing.
